Welcome to Make It Human. These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of our digital training modules, workshops, and speaking engagements, provided via our website (the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the Services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Services.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Services Provided

We provide the following services:

Digital Training Modules: Online, on-demand learning modules.
Workshops: In-person or virtual workshops.
Downloadable Resources: Guides & worksheets.
Speaking Engagements: Keynotes, seminars, or other public speaking engagements.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Booking

All bookings for workshops and speaking engagements must be confirmed in writing via email or through our website.
For digital training modules and downloadable resources, purchase is completed via our website, and access is granted upon receipt of full payment.

3.2 Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking for digital training modules.
Access to digital training modules is limited to the period specified on the product purchased and for one specified user.
For workshops and speaking engagements, an invoice will be shared for 50% of the total amount at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% invoiced on completion of the workshop or speaking engagement
Consulting work falling outside of these categories will be invoiced according to milestones, mutually agreed during the scoping of the work
Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit/debit card.
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Late Payments

Invoices must be paid within 30 days from the invoice date. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate (currently 8% plus the Bank of England base rate) from the due date until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Workshops and Speaking Engagements

If you cancel a workshop or speaking engagement:
- More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
- 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund of the total fee.
- Less than 15 days before the event: No refund will be provided.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop or speaking engagement. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we will offer a full refund or reschedule to a mutually agreeable date.

4.2 Digital Training Modules & Downloadable Resources

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not provided for digital training modules once access has been granted, unless there is a fault with the product.
If a technical issue prevents access to the content, we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided through our Services, including but not limited to training modules, workshop materials, downloadable resources and speaking. presentations, are the intellectual property of Make It Human and its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any of our materials without prior written consent.
Access to digital training modules is granted for individual use only. You may not share your login details with others or allow others to access the materials without our express permission.

6. Confidentiality

We may receive confidential information from you during the course of providing our Services, and we agree to maintain the confidentiality of that information and not disclose it to any third parties unless required by law.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Make It Human will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Our total liability to you in respect of any claims arising out of the provision of our Services will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

7.2 Disclaimer

Our Services are designed to provide training, knowledge, and guidance, but we do not guarantee that applying the information provided will lead to specific business results.
We do not warrant that our digital training modules will be free from technical errors, though we will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues as they arise.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using our Services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. You are encouraged to review these Terms regularly. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes made.

10. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations under these Terms if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, pandemics, or other circumstances.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
