Learning Moments
At WD-40, mistakes are intentionally reframed as “learning moments.” This simple language shift removes blame and creates space for reflection. Teams are encouraged to openly share what didn’t work, what they learned, and what they’ll do differently next time.
By embedding this into everyday conversations, learning becomes continuous rather than reactive, and people feel safer to take smart risks and speak up.
