MoveUp Media intentionally recreates the spontaneous conversations that naturally happen in offices by creating dedicated Slack channels such as #hallway-chatter, #pets-r-us and team challenges. These channels give people opportunities to connect as humans rather than only around work, helping build stronger relationships, belonging and collaboration across remote teams.

Create one or two informal communication channels focused on shared interests rather than work. Encourage leaders to participate naturally without dominating conversations, and regularly introduce simple prompts or challenges that spark interaction.
